Our company, OCDetailers, is looking to hire for our Buffing, Polishing & Ceramic Technician position in the St. Louis area. We’re looking for a responsible and detail-oriented (because we are “OCD”) team player to become part of our crew. We specialize in appearance protection for the automotive and marine industries (even though we can do all things; airplanes, side-by-sides, etc.). Our services include ceramic coating, paint protection film (PPF or Clear Bra) and detailing. At OCDetailers, our goal is to make our client’s boats and vehicles look BADA$$ and better than new every time.
Expectations
The primary duties of the Buffing, Polishing and Ceramic Technician role is to do just that; buff, polish and apply ceramic coating on vehicles (and maybe boats). This job is physically demanding, day in and day out.
Activity Required
- Physically buffing, polishing, washing, detailing and ceramic coating vehicles and boats
- Loading/Refilling job supplies
- Commuting to/from each job if necessary
- Hauling, Setting up and Breaking down of equipment
- Tracking time on job
Requirements/Qualifications
- Buffing/Polishing experience; nice-to-have
- Self-motivator; easily assumes responsibilities of the job
- High Attention to Detail
- Punctual
- Work ends when the job is finished
- Keep an organized job site, put things back the way you found them, always (Client’s belongings, Shop, Job Sites, Bathroom, etc.)
- Maintain a professional image and demeanor
- Have a friendly, approachable attitude
- Wear company supplied uniform
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing/able to pass drug test

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
