Build Projects That Matter From the Ground Up
We’re a Utah-based excavation and civil construction company looking for an experienced Project Manager who knows how to keep dirt moving, crews productive, and projects on track.
Our work is the foundation everything else depends on: site development, earthwork, underground utilities, and concrete for commercial, municipal, and infrastructure projects across the region. We take pride in doing hard work the right way, solving problems in the field, and delivering quality that lasts.
If you’ve managed excavation or heavy civil projects and want to work with a team that values accountability, communication, and getting the job done right, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do
As a Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of projects from handoff through closeout. You’ll work closely with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and clients to keep operations moving safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing excavation, sitework, and underground utility projects from start to finish
- Reviewing plans, specs, contracts, and project requirements
- Coordinating schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials
- Supporting field crews and helping remove obstacles before they impact production
- Tracking job costs, budgets, production, and project progress
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Communicating with clients, inspectors, and general contractors
- Visiting active job sites to monitor quality, safety, and progress
- Solving field issues and keeping projects moving forward
- Supporting safety expectations and company standards
- Managing project closeout documentation and punch lists
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who understands excavation and heavy civil work — not just from behind a desk, but from real-world field experience.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in excavation, sitework, or heavy civil construction
- Strong knowledge of grading, trenching, and underground utilities
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and multiple active projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with field teams and clients
- OSHA 30 Construction Certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
