DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shop Review: Visit each shop in assigned area once per month and conduct bi-monthly full facility inspection. Check condition of all service trucks and rental trucks for appearance and readiness. Observe Service Island inspection and conduct random PM and management inspections during the visit. Check tire pressure on random units to obtain a sufficient sample to ensure compliance. Review open repair and purchase orders and over due PM Inspections. Develop and implement an action plan with time frame for improvement.
- Operation Cost: Monitor shops budget compliance in Lease & Rental, GMA, FMA & S&S, Shop Operating Cost, and Indirect Cost using the X Report, Labor Management Report, and Enrich Management Reports.
- Inventory Compliance: Monitor each shop to ensure that the purchase program is being effectively utilized and inventory levels are maintained to INL's standards with antiquate inventory to support the shop's business needs.
- Enrich & Operational Requirements: Monitor the implementation of service call process. Review daily work orders closed, manage the service managers reporting requirements, and cost containment reporting. Review budget vs. actual. Implement and manage the Work Scheduling Process.
- Personnel Administration: Ensure customer retention through correct maintenance procedures and processes as monitored through sales reports. Monitor the shop's Safety Program. Identify personnel training needs and coordinate those needs to the Director of Operations. Develop and implement a corrective action plan for all defects of maintenance work processes and procedures. Monitor the warranty process to ensure INL's procedures are followed. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3- 5 years as a Regional Service Manager in a truck leasing industry with a total of 7 years experience in a management position in the truck leasing industry.
- Computer literacy with working knowledge of inventory control software; Lotus Notes; Microsoft Word; and maintenance software.
- Technically adept in diesel engine technology and mechanical functions.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Possesses the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to analyze financial and production reports to evaluate effective results of the operation and to correct defects, processes, or procedures.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
