Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our amazing healthcare team. PRESENTLY LOOKING FOR PART TIME to EVENTUAL FULL TIME. CUSTOM SPLINTING ABILITY A PLUS. PAY COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE/ABILITY. WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE MOTIVATED TO WORK IN UE THERAPY. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for patients through effective therapy interventions. This role involves working with diverse populations, including pediatrics and adults with various injuries both complex, post-surgical, and nonsurgical conservative treatment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ deficits.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to individual patient goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions that may include activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills training, strengthening, and adaptive techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including other therapists and MD's.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post-treatment.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises to promote recovery.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy through ongoing education and professional development.
Experience
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is required, with a passion for hand therapy, CHT a plus
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
