Responsibilities

- Lead public speaking engagements at community meetings, rallies, and events to raise awareness and motivate action.
- Build strong relationships with community partners, local organizations, and stakeholders to expand outreach efforts.
- Collect data on community needs and feedback to inform campaign tactics and ensure culturally sensitive approaches.
- Manage social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns to increase visibility and engagement online.
- Organize grassroots activities that foster community participation, including youth programs and culturally diverse initiatives.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as scheduling events, maintaining records, and coordinating with team members for seamless project execution.
- Conduct outreach in underserved communities to ensure inclusive participation and address specific local concerns.
- Collaborate with team members on fundraising efforts and community engagement strategies to sustain campaign momentum.
Experience
- Proven experience in volunteer management, supervising teams or projects within community settings.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to motivate diverse audiences effectively.
- Demonstrated success in program development, project management, or grassroots organizing.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and digital marketing techniques.
- Experience working with culturally diverse communities, including bilingual proficiency preferred.
- Background in social work, public health, addiction counseling or related fields is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Previous experience engaging with underserved populations or conducting community outreach initiatives.
- Leadership experience in youth programs or social justice campaigns is a plus.
