We are seeking a proactive and skilled Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our properties’ facilities. Your expertise will help create safe, functional, and welcoming environments for residents and staff alike. This is a full-time position for one maintenance tech to maintain one property in Hamilton, GA and a second property in Williamson, GA. Travel between properties is required.
Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Repair electrical equipment and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct residential painting and other carpentry tasks to maintain property aesthetics and safety standards.
- Maintain facilities by inspecting systems such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical wiring, and mechanical components; perform repairs as needed.
- Utilize RealPage Facilities to electronically track work orders, schedule maintenance tasks, and document repairs.
- Supervise or assist with maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents or management staff.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within residential environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with schematics and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with electrical equipment repair, plumbing system maintenance, HVAC system repair, and use of ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices along with experience using CMMS software.
- Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate tasks and provide clear instructions.
