Canterbury School is seeking an Admission Administrative & Operations Coordinator. The Canterbury Admission Office is a busy and active office. We are looking for a professional who is collaborative, has a strong understanding of databases, and a passion for customer service. This position is an integral member of the Admission Office and is responsible for providing all levels of support.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Communicate with prospective families to schedule visits and interviews
- Manage front door security camera for visits to Steele Hall
- Welcome visiting families upon arrival and coordinate visits with program leaders
- Assist with admission database management, consistently updating candidate information
- Responsible for processing incoming inquiries, verifying data, and sending correspondence
- Responsible for managing data integrity of all components of online applications, to ensure they are accurate in database and ready for review
- Support in preparation and execution of on-campus and off-campus Admission events
- Perform duties as assigned by the Director of Strategic Enrollment Management and the Director of Admission Operations & Financial Aid
- Contact person for EMA
- Oversee and manage ordering of office supplies and process invoices. Assist in maintaining the office budget Google Sheet.
- Act as a liaison to other offices/departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Focused, motivated and well organized
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Work effectively with a team of 7 other admission professionals
- Understand the demands and conduct of working in a high profile environment, including the importance of discretion when working with confidential information
- Experience with information management systems (previous experience with databases required, Veracross preferred)
- Proficiency in Google Suite (especially Google Docs and Sheets), Microsoft (Word and Excel)
- Ability to master database entry and manipulation
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
