We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Full-Time Title Clerk to join our growing operations team. This position is responsible for processing automotive title and registration transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with clients, counties, and internal team members.
The ideal candidate is organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and capable of managing multiple deals and deadlines simultaneously. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, follows through on outstanding items, and helps keep deals moving rather than waiting to be told what to do next.
This is an in-office position with opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding company.
Key Responsibilities: Title & Registration Processing
- Process automotive title and registration transactions accurately and timely
- Review deal paperwork for completeness and accuracy
- Prepare title applications and supporting documentation
- Submit transactions through county systems and online portals
- Monitor deal status from intake through completion
- Resolve title and registration discrepancies as they arise
- Ensure compliance with state and county requirements
Deal & Workflow Management
- Maintain organized and accurate deal files
- Monitor aging and incomplete deals
- Follow up on missing paperwork, signatures, payments, and documentation
- Communicate with dealerships, lenders, counties, and customers regarding outstanding items
- Prioritize urgent transactions and deadlines appropriately
- Keep internal systems updated with accurate notes and statuses
Problem Solving & Communication
- Troubleshoot rejected or delayed transactions
- Research title issues and identify solutions proactively
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding deal status and issues
- Escalate complex problems when necessary while taking initiative to resolve issues independently when possible
- Help identify recurring problems and process improvements
Daily Office Responsibilities
- Support overall workflow and office operations
- Assist coworkers when workloads become heavy
- Maintain professionalism and urgency throughout the workday
- Participate in training and process improvement initiatives
