Laborers support Equipment Operators and Foremen with hands-on underground utility construction work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with jobsite setup, including clearing debris, setting barricades, and preparing work areas.

Load, unload, organize, and move tools, materials, and equipment.

Assist with trenching, excavation, backfilling, and soil compaction.

Assist with installing conduit, pipe, cable, and other underground utilities.

Hand dig and pothole around existing utilities as needed.

Spot for equipment operators and follow utility markings and safe-dig procedures.

Assist with jobsite restoration and cleanup.

Operate small tools and support equipment, including tampers and jackhammers.

Follow company safety policies, OSHA requirements, traffic control procedures, and PPE requirements.

Inspect tools and equipment and report damaged or malfunctioning equipment.

Assist Equipment Operators and Foremen with additional jobsite tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work.

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a crew.

Comfortable working around construction equipment and underground utilities.

Ability to work safely in changing jobsite and weather conditions.

Reliable attendance and ability to report to assigned jobsites on time.

Previous construction or underground utility experience preferred, but not required.
