About Us
L.A.S.E.R. Project is a social services agency providing community-based support to children and families involved in the community and child welfare system. We are seeking dedicated, compassionate professionals to join our growing team.
General Requirements (All Positions)
- Must pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel and transport clients across surrounding counties
- Must meet state auto insurance requirements (commercial policy)
- Availability to work some weekends based on caseload
- Mileage reimbursement provided ($0.56/mile)
Open Positions
Therapist (Contractor) $50–$62/hour
Provide in-home, family-centered therapy to children and families impacted by abuse, neglect, and behavioral health challenges. Services include counseling, crisis intervention, parenting support, and participation in Child & Family Team meetings.
Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctorate in a behavioral health field
- Licensed or license-eligible in Indiana
- Experience with CBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care preferred
Bachelor Level Provider $27–$30/hour
Provide home-based casework, supervised visitation, and father engagement services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
- OR Associate’s/HS Diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience
Paraprofessional (Parent Aide) $23–$25/hour
Support families through homemaker services, supervised visitation, and parenting education.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21+ with valid driver’s license
Tutor $21–$25/hour
Provide individualized academic support and promote student success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree OR 60+ college credit hours in education, social work, psychology, or related field
- Ability to support diverse learning needs and collaborate with families and schools
Mentor / Life Coach $17–$23/hour
Guide and support youth in building confidence, life skills, and goal achievement.
Requirements:
- Experience working with youth or young adults preferred
- Strong communication, empathy, and conflict resolution skills
