Cascade Corporation, a global leader in manufacturing material handling equipment attachments, has an opening at our Warner Robins Manufacturing facility for an: INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TEAM MEMBER. General Area of Responsibility: Maintain, and repair robotic welders, CNC machining centers and other production equipment. General discretion and judgement are exercised routinely in the execution of job duties to complete job requirements in a timely and quality fashion.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Troubleshoot, repair, clean, and maintain a variety of production machinery, including CNC, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment.
· Fabricate and or repair parts for production machines per blueprints, sketches, or verbal descriptions, electrical maintenance and modifications as required, maintain records of repair and preventative maintenance in work order system.
· Install new machines, including adjustments for proper function, troubleshooting issues, and modifying utilities, learn HMI interfaces and PLCs as needed.
· Execute Preventative Maintenance work as scheduled and processes for CNC and other production machines and update the PM plan as needed with associated roles.
· Follow all safety guidelines, maintain an acceptable dependability level, and routinely use a computer system to obtain information and prioritize workload.
· Be able to work 50+ hours a week (Mon-Fri) when required for completing plant projects, installations, or general maintenance work during production downtime.
QUALIFICATIONS and EDUCATION
· High School diploma or GED required.
· Relevant work experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machine installation and repair with an emphasis on repair and maintenance of CNC equipment
· Must be able to read schematics, ladder diagrams, and machine blueprints, machine parts manuals and diagrams.
· Ability to effectively use standard hand, power, and measuring tools to complete work.
· Able to perform mathematical calculations to calibrate machines and fabricate parts.
· Experience with MIG and stick welding is preferred
· Ability to use computer information systems effectively, and to implement new ideas and changes.
· Must be self-motivated and work independently or in a team setting as needed by business demands; able to prioritize work based on urgency and scheduling needs
· Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license is preferred.
· Basic understanding of PLC logic and programming is preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is performed in a shop environment that is not climate controlled. This is a full-time position. Shift hours are ten hours daily between the hours of Monday-Friday, 5:00am - 5:00pm while maintaining a consistent and reliable schedule. The individual may encounter pressure in meeting customer needs, balancing competing deadlines and resource constraints, although guidance is available from leaders at the site. Situations must be handled in a manner that meets customer needs and does not negatively impact customer satisfaction. Customers are both internal and external.
This is a safety sensitive position.
The following physical demands and environmental conditions may be encountered while performing the duties of this job. Must be able to stand and walk on concrete for long periods of time, be able to lift at least 25-50 lbs and use fingers/hands to feel objects, reach, must also be able to climb on ladders, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl in and around equipment.
