Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic property management team. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing lease or rental agreement processes, including lease preparation, renewals, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards
- Support property leasing activities by conducting property tours, screening prospective tenants, and coordinating application procedures using property management software
- Handle tenant inquiries with excellent customer service skills via phone, email, or in person, addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain detailed records of tenant interactions, rent payments, maintenance requests, and legal documentation in accordance with property management policies
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate property upkeep and repairs, ensuring facilities are well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations such as Fair Housing laws
- Assist in managing rent collections, late notices, and delinquency follow-ups while upholding conflict management strategies to resolve disputes amicably
Qualifications
- Proven experience in real estate administrative roles or property management companies; familiarity with property management software like Yardi or OneSite is highly preferred
- Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently through effective organization skills such as data entry, filing, and contract management
- Experience with lease or rental agreement management and familiarity with contracts related to property leasing or facilities management
- Office experience demonstrating proficiency in administrative tasks including filing systems and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices is a plus
- Strong negotiation skills for upselling amenities or services that enhance tenant satisfaction while supporting revenue goals

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
