Duties
- Vigilantly monitor the indoor pool area to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies.
- Enforce pool rules and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for all swimmers.
- Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as checking water quality, cleaning the pool deck, and ensuring proper chemical levels.
- Assist guests with pool-related inquiries, provide directions, and ensure a positive experience through friendly guest services.
- Conduct regular inspections of safety equipment, lifeguard stations, and pool facilities to ensure readiness at all times.
- Respond to emergency situations with first aid or CPR as needed, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of pool conditions, safety incidents, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance and safety standards.
Skills
- Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues confidently.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical balancing and cleaning protocols.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when needed for pool cleaning supplies or equipment.
- Attention to detail in monitoring water quality and safety equipment.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
