The Goddard School in Huntersville, NC is looking for a Preschool Education Director with an ownership mindset. We are looking for patient, creative and enthusiastic Director who is highly passionate about making difference in young lives. A bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, and minimum five years of management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool is required. A candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and have a good understanding of age-appropriate activities for young children.
The School Director has strong leadership skills, is an excellent communicator, and can motivate and inspire others. The Director responsibilities include:
- Overseeing preschool operations including curriculum development and implementation, human resources, quality assurance, and facility operations
- Developing strong relationships with our families
- Managing a budget
- Complying with state childcare licensing regulations
- Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Having genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education

Qualifications:
- BA or BS Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education or related field
- Five Years of Prior Managerial Experience in a Preschool Setting
