Position Summary: In this position, you will perform order picking and prepare pallets for shipping, loading trailers and completing necessary paperwork/electronic records while maintaining a clean work environment. Cross training in receiving and production departments. Participate in inventory cycle counting and perform related work as assigned by the Plant Manager and/or Production Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be on time to work every day
- Safely operate PIV including sit down/standup forklifts, stock pickers, and reach trucks
- Conduct daily inspections of all PIV operated
- Organize product onto pallets in the correct order for shipping
- Wrap, add dunnage, weigh, and stage orders for loading
- Record necessary information on BOLs and in the Shipping system
- Load trailers
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace daily
- Ability to use personal protective equipment is required
- Cross-train in receiving and production areas
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager and/or Production Supervisor
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 1 year experience of order picking/material handling
- Prefer some inventory cycle counting experience (or willingness to train)
- Safe operation of forklifts, stock pickers, reach truck and other PIV as necessary

- Perform physical work that may include but is not limited to standing, lifting, walking, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling throughout the entire shift. Items lifted may be up to 70 lbs.
