Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Travel Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional telehealth nursing services in Arizona. This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses to deliver comprehensive patient care remotely, utilizing advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems and telecommunication technology. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality healthcare in a dynamic environment. As a Travel Tele RN, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient assessments, managing care plans, and supporting diverse populations across various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments via telehealth platforms, including reviewing medical histories and current symptoms.
- Provide expert triage and clinical decision-making to determine appropriate levels of care and necessary interventions.
- Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
- Educate patients on disease management, medication administration, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health measures.
- Support patients with complex needs such as those requiring dialysis, long-term care management, or hospice & palliative medicine services.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of all patient information while working remotely.
Requirements
- Valid Arizona RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse and 1 recent year of Telemetry/Medsurg experience
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Flexibility to float between departments and facilities
- Willingness to work a 13-week assignment with the potential for a 48-hour guaranteed shift schedule
