Description:
Sycamore Services is looking for a Part-Time Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Human Resources Administrative Assistant supports the Human Resources department in the accurate completion of day-to-day HR transactions, assists with employee on-boarding and off-boarding processes, maintains accurate and organized personnel records, updates databases and prepares HR documents, and completes employee updates and changes within the HRIS system. Job Duties:
Administrative and General

Provides day-to-day administrative and clerical support to the human resources department. Manages workflows, deadlines, and any follow-up action required. Completes and submits expense forms and purchase orders.

Creates and revises forms, as requested.
Records and Data Management

Accountable for maintaining accurate and organized personnel records and tracking systems; updates databases and spreadsheets; ensures proactive and timely follow-up on overdue and/or missing items.
Employee On-boarding/Off-boarding

Assists with new hire orientation preparation, completes employee profile set-up in Paylocity & Provide systems and processes on-boarding/off-boarding tasks.

Fosters a positive and organized on-boarding experience that introduces new employees to Sycamore’s mission, vision, values and workplace culture.
Process Improvement

Identifies and communicates to HR team opportunities to streamline workflows, communication streams and processes to create increased consistency and efficiency.
HRIS Management
-
Processes employee updates, change requests and document uploads.
Employee Experience

Delivers exceptional customer service to employees and leaders; serves as a welcoming and responsive point-of-contact for routine HR needs.

Assists with the coordination, communication and delivery of organizational culture-building, recognition and retention initiatives.
Training and Compliance

Prepares educational materials, creates and forwards compliance/training communication to employees, updates tracking systems, and enrolls participants for training programs.
Recruitment Support

Supports Recruitment and Retention Specialist with drafting/sending applicant communication, interview scheduling, candidate tracking, and career fair coordination.
Community and Workforce Partnerships
-
Maintains positive relationships with community and workforce partners; coordinates documentation, conducts timely follow-up on issues and/or concerns and reports outcomes.
General/Other

Completes other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- High school diploma/G.E.D. required.

1-3 years’ experience within a multi-faceted, fast-paced HR department required.

Prior experience with HRIS systems such as Paylocity, Workday, ADP or similar platform required.

Must possess strong proficiency in Microsoft applications and experience with servicing multiple remote locations is preferred.
