Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash and electronic payments securely.
- Assist customers with product information, including conducting product demos when appropriate to highlight features and benefits.
- Upsell related products or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain store merchandising standards by organizing shelves, restocking items, and ensuring displays are attractive and inviting.
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves efficiently and conducting regular stock checks to prevent shortages.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing clear information or directing calls as needed.
- Support team members through supervising experience when applicable, helping train new staff or guiding less experienced colleagues.
- Promote store promotions and loyalty programs to encourage repeat business.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained throughout the store environment.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both person and over the phone.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs better.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for accurate transactions.
- Enthusiastic demeanor as you will be the customers first point of contact. The experience is won or lost with you!
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed.
