- AUTO DISMANTLER/PARTS PULLER
- This position requires careful removal of major automotive components for parts resale.
- Must inspect ,test and pull parts outlined on dismantle sheets.
- Drain fluids according to industry standards as well as tag and clean parts .
- Use forklift and front end loader to move vehicles or parts.
- Ability to stand under a lift ,bend twist and lift up to 75 lbs
- Must have all the necessary mechanics tools including impact.
- This position requires prior auto mechanic job related experience.
- This position is best suited for someone experienced in working in the auto salvage Industry.
Must- have prior job related experience either as a mechanic auto dismantler .
Must-have mechanical knowledge of all makes and models cars and trucks
Must-have extensive mechanics tools including impact tools needed for this position!
- Safely operate equipment necessary equipment for dismantling includes forklifts and front end loaders.
-Ability to work on a vehicle under a lift or in the in the yard in an auto salvage environment.
- Remove parts from vehicles in auto salvage for customers
- Inspect and assess the condition of parts for reusability or recycling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous work experience as auto mechanic, or auto dismantler is required
- Knowledge of all types of vehicles and their components is important.
Required- full set of mechanic's tools including impact
- Strong Auto mechanic history and ability to use various tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret dismantling reports as well as tag and clean all parts removed for resale.
- Strong Automotive mechanic experience required.
- Ability to safely use Forklift and front end loader to move vehicles .
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds ) and perform physical tasks as required
