Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Auntie <PERSON> to join our vibrant team, bringing warmth, care, and expertise to the children and families we serve. As an Auntie <PERSON>, you will be a vital part of creating positive experiences, ensuring safety, and promoting well-being through engaging interactions and professional care.
Duties
- Provide attentive and energetic supervision for children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Assist with daily activities, including playtime, educational tasks, and routine routines such as meals and naps
- Support medical procedures by monitoring vital signs, assisting with medical records management, and understanding basic medical terminology
- Maintain a clean and aseptic environment by following proper infection control techniques and adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality
- Manage retail sales of health-related products or educational materials, utilizing retail math skills to handle transactions accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic to document observations and updates
- Engage in laboratory experience tasks such as specimen collection or processing when applicable, supporting overall pediatric health assessments
- Support senior care initiatives by assisting with mobility or medication reminders as needed
Skills
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmology principles and anatomy relevant to pediatric eye care
- Proficiency in HIPAA compliance, medical billing, coding, and medical records management
- Experience with laboratory procedures, medical terminology, physiology knowledge, and clinic operations
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic for documentation and patient management
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to children and families
- Retail management experience combined with retail math skills for sales transactions and inventory control
- Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and apply aseptic techniques during procedures
- Knowledge of optical experience or related fields is a plus for supporting vision-related needs
