- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve skills and performance.
- Collaborate with management to develop menus and daily specials.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards.
- Manage kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any food-related issues promptly.
- Proven experience as a Head Cook, Chef, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Food Handler’s Certification or equivalent preferred.
