HVAC Service Technician
A leading mechanical service company is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician for their team. This full-time, direct-hire role offers great benefits and career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities of the HVAC Service Technician
- Maintain and repair HVAC and commercial refrigeration equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Perform repairs, overhauls, and startups of commercial boiler and HVAC systems
- Use a variety of hand tools and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes, or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units
- Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers
- Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work, as necessary
- Maintain vehicles by keeping records of service manuals, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance service
- Complete paperwork on each job and maintain files
- Provide technical support to customers
Preferred Qualifications of the HVAC Service Technician
- NH Gas License or ability to obtain a license within a year
- EPA 608 Certification
- 3+ years of experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education in HVAC tech is beneficial
- Flexibility to work on call 1 day every 2 weeks
