We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various mechanical systems such as engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently.
- Work with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and auto body repair techniques to enhance vehicle safety features.
- Follow dealership or industry standards for auto estimating and auto body repairs while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle conditions and repair needs.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background working within the automotive repair industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems including electrical systems, powertrain, diesel engines, and heavy equipment mechanics.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for accurate diagnostics and repairs.
- Experience repairing diesel engines and working with ADAS technology is highly desirable.
- Skilled in automotive suspension system repair, wheel alignment, brake repair, tire service, shocks & struts replacement.
- Ability to operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
