GLC On-The-Go is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong inpatient OR experience who thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment and are confident working across multiple surgical specialties.
Job Details
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: Day/Evening Rotation
- Day Shift Start: 7:00 AM
- Evening Shift Starts: 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM
- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend, as needed
- Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
- On-Call: One call shift per schedule
- Float Requirement: May float to another OR location if needed
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care.
- Scrub and circulate in a variety of surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
- Adapt to changing surgical priorities in a busy operating room environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient Operating Room experience
- Scrub experience required
- Level I Trauma experience preferred
- Competent in at least five (5) of the listed surgical specialties
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and flexibility
Preferred Experience
- Neurosurgery
- Vascular Surgery
- Experience beyond General Surgery, GYN, and GU procedures

Pay Package
- Weekly Gross Pay: Up to $2,500.15
- Taxable Weekly Wages: $720.00
- Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,780.15 (for eligible travelers)
Important Information
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the assignment location will be considered local and will receive the applicable local pay package.
- Previous permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment.
