Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Supervisor to lead our retail team and ensure smooth store operations. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
- Lead, motivate, and train team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Manage employee scheduling, onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training initiatives.
- Oversee inventory control processes such as stocking, merchandising, purchasing, and stock replenishment.
- Handle cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, and cashiering duties with accuracy.
- Conduct interviewing sessions for potential hires and participate in recruiting efforts to build a strong team.
- Monitor store performance metrics and implement strategies to improve sales management and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven supervisory or management experience within the retail industry or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, training & development, and team management.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to retail math, pricing, budgeting, and bookkeeping.
- Experience with operational management tasks such as purchasing, merchandising, stock control, and shift management.
- Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store experience is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
