Position overview:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects from concept through completion.

This is a full-time, on-site role in East Texas.

You will generate and manage construction documents in AutoCAD, oversee schedules and budgets, and guide projects through permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
Key Responsibilities:

Generate and manage architectural projects from concept through construction.
-
Produce detailed construction drawings in AutoCAD.

Coordinate with and review the work of assistant project managers and drafters.

Lead projects through permitting and bidding; interface with city officials.

Support construction administration, including RFIs and field issues.

Communicate directly with clients and manage expectations.

Track project schedules and basic budgets.
Required qualifications:

3-5 years of architectural project management experience.

Strong AutoCAD proficiency; able to independently produce full construction document sets.

Experience with permitting, bidding, and construction administration.

Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications:
-
Professional degree in Architecture or related field; licensure or on licensure track a plus.

Experience supervising or mentoring drafters/assistant PMs.

Interest in helping grow a small firm and building client relationships.
Compensation and benefits:

Base salary

Commission opportunity (~10% on fees for projects brought in).

Schedule: Monday-Thursday approx. 7:30am - 5:30pm; half-day Fridays.
