Accurate Machine Products is a leading precision manufacturer specializing in prototype and short run machining. We are seeking an experienced 1st Shift CNC Lathe Machinist. The lathe machinist is a highly skilled individual with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities. Ideal candidates will be responsible for programming, set up and operation multiple CNC lathes.
Primary Job Duties:
- Programming complex prototype and production parts using Fanuc controls.
- Set-up CNC Lathes with live tooling, multiple turrets and barfeeders.
- Adhering to and maintaining quality standards throughout the machining process.
- Assisting with training and mentoring new employees as needed.
- Complete all related paperwork and interface with ERP system.
Ideal Candidates Should:
- Have a passion, desire and commitment to the CNC Machining trade.
- Have extensive experience with CNC machining, programming, tooling, operation sequencing.
- Have experience in a “job shop” environment – highly technical parts, low quantity runs.
- Experience with Fusion 360 is a plus.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and procedures a plus.
Qualified Candidates Must Have:
- 3-5 years of G&M code programming experience, preferably with Fanuc or Fanuc equivalent controls.
- Print to part experience, including programming, set-up and operation.
- Accuracy in reading and comprehending complex blueprints.
- Proficiency with various quality measurement, testing and documentation processes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Proven dedication through longevity with former employers.
