Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, elementary school-age children, and infants
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, learning, and fun while adhering to age-appropriate guidelines
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times for young children and infants
- Ensure safety by following proper child supervision protocols and behavior management strategies
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, maintaining compliance with mandated reporting laws
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized caregiving tailored to individual needs
Experience
- Prior experience working with children across various settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting or nannying roles is highly valued
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Experience planning age-appropriate activities for young children and managing classroom or group settings
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in childhood safety protocols is a plus
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential
- Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration

Pay: $22.68 - $27.31 per hour
