We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Advanced Wound Care Provider, including Physician Assistants (PA), Nurse Practitioners (NP), or Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN), to join our team on a contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver specialized wound management and advanced patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your proactive approach and commitment to excellence will help elevate patient experiences and improve quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic wounds (pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, surgical wounds, and more)
- Provide hands-on wound treatment, including conservative sharp debridement, application of advanced wound care products, and other procedures within your scope of practice
- Travel to patient homes, SNFs, and LTC facilities within your service area; optional outpatient clinic shifts may be available
- Collaborate with facility nursing staff, primary care providers, home health agencies, and families to coordinate care
- Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on wound prevention and management
- Document visits accurately and timely in our EMR
- Order and interpret relevant diagnostics; prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted PA or APRN license in New Hampshire (or eligibility for NH licensure)
- Current national board certification (for respective license)
- Demonstrated clinical experience in wound care (assessment, treatment, and management of complex wounds)
- Active DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to patient locations
- Strong independent clinical judgment and comfort practicing autonomously in the field
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (bonus if you have experience with Intellicure)
Preferred:
- Wound care certification — CWS, CWSP, CWCN, CWON, WCC, or equivalent — strongly preferred
- Experience providing care in home-based, SNF, or LTC settings
- Experience with debridement and advanced wound therapies (e.g., NPWT, ultrasonic debridement, PRP, cellular and tissue-based products)
- 3+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a wound focused field
Compensation:
- Up to $110 per hour, based on skill level and experience
- Flexible hours per week. Build a caseload that fits your schedule
- Mileage reimbursement option
- 1099 independent contractor position
Why Join Us
- Real flexibility: We have a variety of scheduling needs. Enjoy a semi-flexible, consistent work schedule.
- Meaningful work: Many of our patients are homebound or facility-bound and would otherwise lack access to specialized wound care. Your visits make a measurable difference.
- Growth: Opportunity to expand your caseload, take on clinic shifts, or grow with us as we expand across the state.
If you’re passionate about advancing your clinical expertise while working flexible hours in a rewarding setting—this is the opportunity for you!
We review applications on a rolling basis and would love to hear from you even if you have as little as one day per week available.
