Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders efficiently and handle cash transactions with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and following food safety protocols
- Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques and adhering to sanitation guidelines
- Support kitchen operations by assisting with food prep, stocking supplies, and ensuring timely delivery of orders
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation or quick service restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while managing time efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in cashiering, upselling, and sales techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
- Kitchen or café experience is a plus; familiarity with grocery store or retail math is beneficial for inventory management
