Job Overview
The Accounting Clerk will assist with various accounting and administrative tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, record maintenance, and financial reporting support. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Process and enter accounts payable invoices accurately and timely.
- Assist with accounts receivable tracking and customer payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized accounting files and records.
- Prepare and distribute financial and operational reports.
- Support month-end closing activities.
- Assist with inventory and purchasing documentation.
- Respond to vendor and internal accounting inquiries.
- Perform general administrative duties for the Accounting Department.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule
- Part-Time
- 30 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- Flexible schedule available based on business needs
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
