Job Summary
The Law Family Company is looking for compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a residential setting.
We're a family-founded company with a simple mission: treat every resident the way we'd want our own family member treated.
This is more than a caregiving job. Our DSPs help residents build independence, participate in their communities, learn new skills, and enjoy meaningful everyday lives.

What You'll Do
- Support residents with daily living activities while promoting independence
- Assist with meal preparation and household routines
- Transport residents to appointments, community outings, and activities
- Encourage life skills including cooking, budgeting, and personal organization
- Complete documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Reliable attendance
Preferred
- Previous experience as a DSP, CNA, PCA, caregiver, behavioral health technician, or in human services
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience supporting individuals with IDD, autism, behavioral health, or mental health needs
