Indian Shores RV Resort is seeking a dependable, hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and facilities operations of our resort.
This is a leadership position responsible for overseeing our maintenance, housekeeping, and marina teams while helping ensure the entire property is clean, safe, well-maintained, and ready to provide an excellent experience for our guests and seasonal residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, schedule, and oversee maintenance staff, housekeeping staff, and marina staff
- Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure projects and routine tasks are completed properly and on time
- Perform and oversee general property maintenance and repairs
- Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns before they become larger problems
- Oversee the upkeep of resort buildings, common areas, campsites, grounds, bathrooms, rental units, and other facilities
- Coordinate housekeeping schedules and ensure resort accommodations and facilities meet cleanliness standards
- Help oversee marina operations, including rental equipment, docks, boats, WaveRunners, and related equipment
- Ensure marina equipment is properly inspected, maintained, and documented
- Coordinate vendors and contractors when outside services are needed
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs and seasonal opening and closing projects
- Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and maintenance inventory
- Help prioritize projects based on urgency, guest impact, safety, and operational needs
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues as they arise
- Work closely with resort management to communicate property needs, staffing concerns, and upcoming projects
- Hold team members accountable for quality, productivity, safety, and resort standards
- Will snowplow and maintain the grounds during the off-season
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in facilities management, property maintenance, construction, hospitality, resorts, campgrounds, marinas, or a related field
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred
- Strong general maintenance and troubleshooting abilities
- Comfortable managing multiple departments and priorities
- Ability to lead a team while also being willing to jump in and work alongside staff when needed
- Organized, dependable, and proactive
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical work as needed
- Ability to work during busy weekends and peak resort periods when necessary
- Valid driver's license

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
