Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and seat guests efficiently to optimize flow.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold food safety standards.
- Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks when needed, including basic meal assembly or garnishing.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, payments, and receipts handling accurately.
- Maintain excellent communication with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service operations.
- Uphold guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing inquiries professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant hosting, or hospitality roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with phone etiquette and guest interaction experience.
- Ability to handle food safely, including knowledge of food handling procedures and dietary accommodations.
- Experience with food preparation, bussing, cleaning, or catering enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Must be energetic, friendly, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience as a banquet server or delivery driver is advantageous but not required.
