Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Bilingual and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fine dining, catering, and kitchen management, with a passion for food and hospitality. As the Executive Chef, you will oversee all aspects of food production, menu planning, and kitchen operations while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead the culinary team in preparing high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards.
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
- Manage all kitchen operations, including inventory control, food preparation, and service management.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and mentorship to foster professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
- Oversee banquet operations and catering services for special events.
- Monitor food costs and implement strategies for efficient inventory management.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality ingredients are sourced effectively.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of kitchen staff to enhance team performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role within the culinary field.
- Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, and food service management.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management and shift management.
- Background in fine dining establishments or high-volume catering services is preferred.
- Excellent culinary skills with a focus on food safety and handling practices.
- Ability to manage inventory effectively while minimizing waste.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate the team.
- Experience in restaurant management or hospitality is highly desirable.
