We are currently looking for a Field Superintendent to join our HVAC Operations team in Reno, NV and become part of our growing organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with builder superintendents daily to ensure construction schedule is being met.
- Communicate with the management team of SonRay daily to update progress of jobs.
- Communicate and assign daily tasks to installers according to builder schedule.
- Follow up and inspect the work of all installers to ensure quality of work.
- Train and develop installers.
- Supervisor and provide oversight for all field personnel.
- Install or repair any work that is incomplete, damaged, or minor changes requested by the builder.
- Conduct safety audits to ensure employees follow all safety requirements.
- Report all concerns or unsafe actions to management.
- Work with other trades on jobsite and represent SonRay in a positive and professional manner.

- Problem solving – strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

- Planning / organizing – ability to work independently, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, prioritizes, and plans work assignments, organized, and uses time efficiently to meet deadlines.

- Dependability – the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
- Must be able to read and interpret layouts/blueprints.
- Excellent math skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, work proficiently with hand tools, and climb ladders.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years HVAC experience, preferably in residential construction.
- Familiar with building codes is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record is required.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
