Are you currently caring for a family member, friend, or loved one who has Medicaid and needs assistance with everyday activities? Intentional Care LLC may be able to help you become their paid caregiver through Michigan’s Home Help program.
Pay: $18–$23 per hour, depending on the client’s needs, approved services, and caregiver qualifications.
As a Patient Care Attendant, you may assist with:
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Eating and meal preparation
- Mobility and transfers
- Toileting
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Shopping and essential errands
- Other approved daily living activities
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be dependable, compassionate, and professional.
- Must be able to follow the client’s approved care plan.
- Must complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
- Must be willing to complete required screenings and onboarding.
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
Intentional Care will help eligible individuals understand the application process. Approval, services, and care hours are determined by the State of Michigan following an in-home assessment.
