Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping individuals overcome substance use challenges while supporting their mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.
This position includes opportunities to provide individual counseling, group counseling, assessments, treatment planning, relapse prevention, psycho education, and recovery support. Experience with court-ordered services, veterans, first responders, trauma, and co-occurring disorders is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct substance use assessments and screenings.
- Develop individualized treatment plans.
- Facilitate individual, family, and group counseling sessions.
- Lead Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP) groups as assigned.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary providers.
- Educate clients and families regarding addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention.
- Maintain compliance with all state, ethical, and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Current Texas LCDC license in good standing.
- Experience in substance use treatment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with veterans, first responders, trauma, or co-occurring disorders is a plus.
