Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, energetic person to oversee sales and instruct group fitness classes at Crew Fitness.
The ideal candidate has experience in sales, a passion for fitness, and exceptional public speaking skills.
Responsibilities include leading group fitness classes, light cleaning+organization, membership + personal training sales (up to $1000/mo in bonus commission).
Required In-Person Hours:
Monday - Thursday 2:00-6:00 pm
Friday: 4:15-5:00
Sales experience is required.
Experience with various fitness modalities such as cycling, Pilates, yoga, and CrossFit is highly desirable.
Qualified candidates will have an exceptional level of personal fitness (Eg: comfortable running a 5K in under 30:00 and also comfortable back squatting your body weight). Most importantly, this person has a passion for sharing fitness with others.
Duties
- Manage and follow up with leads each day
- Sell memberships + personal training packages (earn bonus commissions)
- Coach afternoon Crew Fitness classes
- Basic daily cleaning tasks
- Motivate members to achieve their fitness objectives through enthusiastic instruction and personalized encouragement
- Demonstrate proper use of gym equipment and ensure class safety standards are maintained
- Foster an inclusive, energetic environment that encourages participation and enjoyment
- Stay current with industry trends in group fitness, health club programming, and new exercise modalities
Requirements
- Familiarity with fitness sales techniques for promoting classes and memberships
- Passion for health and wellness
- Proven experience in group fitness instruction or personal training with certifications in relevant disciplines such as personal training, group fitness, yoga, Pilates, cycling, or CrossFit preferred
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to ensure safe exercise execution
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants of all ages and fitness levels

Pay: $18.00 - $36.00 per hour
