Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures at all times.
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, and replenishing buffet stations efficiently and safely.
- Follow food safety management protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support with manual handling tasks such as setting up tables, arranging serving ware, and restocking supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating dietary needs.
- Operate POS systems for guest transactions accurately while managing weight handling in the workplace responsibly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy breakfast hours.
- Uphold restaurant experience standards by maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment for all guests.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling practices is essential.
- Experience with food preparation, catering, or banquet service is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems and serving techniques enhances efficiency in this role.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling safely within a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary or hospitality experience that demonstrates a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.
- Barista experience or knowledge of wine can be advantageous but not required.
- Certification in food safety management or dietary aide experience is preferred but not mandatory.
