Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty beverages
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained during food handling and serving processes
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, bar area, and dining spaces in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with catering events, banquets, or nightclub service as needed to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Use effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while delivering exceptional customer service
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or banquet settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing
- Experience working in nightlife environments like nightclubs or bars is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques is essential
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously with excellent time management skills
- Strong sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials effectively
- Retail math proficiency for accurate cash handling and billing procedures
- Hospitality experience that highlights excellent customer service skills in fast-paced environments
- Chinese speaking is a plus, for better communicating with the chef.
