Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate 53-foot dry van, POWER ONLY
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery
- Ensure proper handling and securing of cargo during transportation
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks and equipment
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) of minimum 2 years with appropriate endorsements
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such 53-foot vans
- Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects as needed```
