JOB SUMMARY
A rapidly growing real estate development firm is seeking an experienced Construction worker who can handle multiple punch list scopes especially paint touch up and minor drywall repair. Our next hire will work closely with the site Superintendent on a multifamily renovation in Ft. Wayne Indiana. We specialize in multifamily renovation and new construction projects and want to have your experience on our team! To be successful, you must have a comprehensive understanding of multifamily or hotel construction, be detail-oriented, and possess the desire to help us continuously improve and grow our business.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Punch Specialist position will work closely with the Superintendent and existing staff to quickly and efficiently complete same day punch list between punch and final walks. We want you to keep your great reputation as someone who produces excellent work. Of course, since you will be on-site, you may encounter varied worksite conditions and hazardous materials throughout the course of the day.
JOB TYPE: Full-time
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Paint touch up
- Small drywall repair
- Rough carpentry at times
- Match existing texture as needed throughout interiors to be paint-ready
- Repair/replace corner beads
- Remove and Replace drywall as directed
- Tape and finish joints
- Caulk and foam-in gaps around registers and other voids to tighten living space envelope
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience is required.
SCHEDULE:
- Our renovation schedule requires dependability, high attention to detail, and an efficient pace of work. 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. STARTS IMMEDIATELY.
COMPENSATION:
- Pay range is $17 to $25 per hour
- Valid Driver’s License: local travel may be required.
