Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Carpenters and Framers to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in various carpentry and framing techniques, with the ability to work on diverse projects ranging from residential to commercial construction. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople on-site.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Execute frame carpentry and metal stud framing for walls, ceilings, and roofs.
- Conduct restoration projects as needed, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with construction management to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in remodeling projects that require heavy lifting and precision craftsmanship.
Skills
- Proficient in carpentry techniques including trim carpentry, woodworking, drywall, and remodeling.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting.
- Knowledge of construction site practices and safety protocols.
