Salary: $52,000-$62,400/yr
Schedule: M-F, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Location: Fully Onsite
- Manage litigation case files, monitor court deadlines, and maintain attorney calendars in compliance with state and local procedural rules.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients by gathering case information, providing status updates, and offering ongoing support.
- Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas.
- Organize and manage large volumes of records, including medical, billing, and employment documentation.
- Prepare deposition summaries, case chronologies, trial exhibits, witness materials, and mediation or arbitration binders.
- Assist attorneys with trial and mediation preparation to ensure cases are organized and ready for proceedings.
- Bachelor's degree or an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate with at least 2 years of civil litigation or plaintiff-side experience, or
- 3+ years of relevant civil litigation or plaintiff-side experience.
- Proficiency with legal practice management software, document management systems, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail with experience reviewing medical records, tracking damages and expenses, and negotiating liens.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively alongside attorneys, clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses.
