Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify specific areas of discomfort and develop customized treatment plans.
- Perform various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages to address diverse client needs.
- Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions while educating clients on their treatment plans.
- Maintain clear communication with clients throughout sessions, ensuring comfort and understanding of procedures.
- Manage patient records accurately, documenting treatment details, progress notes, and any relevant medical terminology.
- Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR certification and proper hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Promote client retention by delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships that encourage ongoing wellness journeys.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in massage therapy with specialization in medical or clinical settings; med spa experience is a plus.
- Certification in massage therapy from an accredited program; current CPR certification required.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pain management techniques, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage.
- Skilled in various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and explain treatment benefits clearly.
- Prior experience working with patients requiring pain management or injury recovery is highly desirable.
- Ability to work professionally within a team environment while maintaining a compassionate approach toward all clients.

Pay: $35.81 - $43.12 per hour
