We're looking for a Veterinary Assistant who wants to grow with us!
This role is hands-on. You'll work alongside our veterinarians and vet techs in exams, surgeries, and daily patient care. If you're early in your career, we'll train you. If you have experience, we'll challenge you.
What You'll Actually Do
- Restrain and handle animals safely during exams, procedures, and sample collection
- Prep surgical suites and exam rooms; maintain sterile environments
- Administer medications and vaccines under veterinary supervision
- Communicate with pet owners—updates, discharge instructions, follow-ups
- Keep accurate medical records (we use [insert your software if relevant])
- Jump in wherever needed—this is a team that helps each other
What We're Looking For
- Genuine compassion for animals (and patience with their humans)
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced clinic
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs and stay on your feet
- Willingness to work some weekends and holidays
- Previous vet clinic or animal care experience is a plus, but not required—attitude and aptitude matter more
