The Manheim Central Middle School is hiring a full-time Reading Instructional Assistant position for grades 5-8 starting in the 2026-2027 school year.
This position requires direct reading instruction with small groups of students. Working closely with the reading specialist, this person will use data that has been collected to target reading areas of need and support the academic growth of students. This job may also include recess, lunch, arrival, and dismissal duties.
An associate degree, or at least 48 hours of post-secondary credits, is preferred. OR , must be willing to complete free online program within three months of hire.
10-month position
Hours: 7:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. (with 1/2-hour unpaid lunch)
