Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Housekeeper will insure that the Facility is maintained, clean, safe, operational, and attractive to members satisfaction.
He/she will sweep, mop, dust, and clean the facility daily to meet members needs. Clean and maintain floors, carpets, walls, windows, tiled areas, showers, restrooms and other surfaces of facility. Ensure that supplies such as soap and paper towels are replaced regularly, and that waste is emptied. Performs all housekeeping duties. Reports building problems. Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies. Utilize preventative maintenance and cleaning schedule for purpose of maintaining equipment and keeping facility in operational peak performance.
Six months or more experience in housekeeping work. Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment. Basic knowledge of maintenance helpful. Sufficient physical strength and agility to carry out essential duties. Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds. Ability to use equipment and chemicals in prescribed manner, including ability to read labels, MSDS information sheets, and instructions. Ability to identify and resolve potential safety and security problems. Ability to handle demanding individuals in a calm and courteous manner.

They will ensure that supplies such as soap and paper towels are replenished regularly and that waste bins are emptied. Additionally, the Housekeeper will perform all housekeeping duties, report building issues, and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies. They will utilize a preventative maintenance and cleaning schedule to keep equipment and the facility in peak operational condition.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience in housekeeping. They should have knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, with basic maintenance knowledge being beneficial. The role requires sufficient physical strength and agility to perform essential duties, the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, and the capability to use equipment and chemicals correctly, including reading labels, MSDS information sheets, and instructions. The candidate must also be able to identify and resolve potential safety and security issues and handle demanding individuals calmly and courteously.

9 AM - 2 PM
5 PM- 9 PM
Two Saturdays Per Month (Rotation)
