We specialize in the design, operation, and maintenance of laboratory water systems, including pH neutralization systems, acid waste lift stations, cell treatment systems, RO/DI pure water system, RO reclaim systems, and more.
Located in Woburn, MA, our company is expanding our water treatment solutions to our clients and the broader greater Boston community. To support our growth in this space, we are seeking technicians who can maintain and troubleshoot complex equipment used for these critical applications. Responsibilities:
- Supports our clients by routinely maintaining their RO/DI water purification & RO Reclaim Water systems to ensure continuous high-purity performance output. (i.e. DI/Carbon tank replacements, pump replacements, filter replacements, RO membrane replacements, sanitizations, etc.
- Works closely with service team and engineers to implement solution for system problems
- Troubleshoot and maintain water system to ensure proper operation
- Supports in field installation of new systems, upgrades or major repairs to existing systems.
- Ability to maintain trusted working relationship with customers.
- Communicates frequently regarding client complaints, needs, or service issues
- Adheres to all customer onsite rules
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Experience in equipment service operations; experience in high purity water a plus
· Plumbing experience. Ability to install or modify PVC and polypropylene piping along with associated valves and fittings.
· Instrumentation and controls experience including wiring, modifying, and troubleshooting a control panel is a plus.
· Capable of wiring motors and pumps and diagnosing electrical issues with these components
· Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
· Ability to work directly with clients to ensure timely resolution of issues, improve client’s experience
· Ability to work “on call”
· Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted
· Good computer & smartphone skills
· Results oriented and energetic about joining a growing and profitable company
· Reliable vehicle with a clean driving record
· Ability to pass a drug test & background check
Working Conditions:
· Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, and other variable environmental conditions.
